NOTICE
packedlunch.com
To whom it may concern
The domain name packedlunch.com has been registered and owned continuously since 17 April 1999 (over 20 years) by a British individual ("the Individual") whom has an unbroken contract with a UK Internet Service Provider ("the ISP") to maintain the registration of this domain. The identity and contact details of the Individual are held by the ISP.
Today it came to the attention of the Individual that as of 36 hours ago (Wednesday 29 May 2019) some technical actions have been taken to redirect web traffic for the domain packedlunch.com to a third party website ("the Third Party"). This action occurred without the Individual's prior knowledge or authority.
Account Status. The Individual owns and manages several domains through a long-standing domain registration account with the ISP. This account remains live and active today. Similarly the domain packedlunch.com remains configurable and is shown within the various account screens as being registered to the Individual.
E-mail status. As at 1920 hours BST, Friday 31 May, test e-mails sent to the domain packedlunch.com continue to be received by the Individual's in their designated account.
Domain status. During the entire 20 year period of registration, the domain packedlunch.com has been marked as not for sale and marked for automatic renewal, currently renewed until 17 April 2020.
In summary, the domain packedlunch.com remains configurable in the Individual's domain managment account with the ISP, hence giving the Individual no reason to have concern. This is further evident by the functionality available to the Individual at 2100 hours GMT, Friday 31 May 2019, freely allowing packedlunch.com to be pointed to the server directory hosting this notice.
Thus, it seems an unfortunate administrative error has been made. Nevertheless, this should not have taken place.
The Individual has written to the ISP's management today to determine the circumstances of how this has taken place and obtain corrective action.
The Individual accepts no fault nor liability for any loss or inconvenience in regard of this matter. The Individual wishes to work constructively with the Third Party in achieving a prompt resolution of this matter. Thus it is suggested that the Third Party waits a few days for this matter to be clarified by the Individual before taking any further action.
This notice and domain pointing must not be removed.
End of Notice.
